Job Summary

Responsible for providing leadership and direction to 2nd shift production employees to ensure the highest level of safety, quality, schedule attainment, and cost effectiveness. Works closely with the Production Manager, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Engineering, to identify, implement, and sustain process changes within their department to meet company goals and objectives for Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.

Job Duties

•Exercise direct supervision over the production employees with respect to meeting production schedules, delivery dates and overseeing all aspects of performance management.
•Identify and resolve unsafe conditions, ensure employees are trained and use safe work habits. Enforcement of all safety policies and procedures. 
•Execute all phases of our ERP system (SAP) as it relates to our Production/Inventory Control modules. Train new associates when required.
•Responsible for ensuring quality standards are met throughout the department. Working with Quality, measures current processes, identifies areas for improvement and implements solutions. Ensures Quality procedures are developed and adhered to by all employees.
•Ensures the proper materials, tools, equipment and people are available to meet production schedules. Monitor workload and schedule to meet on time delivery. 
•Communicate between shifts via email, text and/or at shift production meetings, problems, concerns, improvement suggestions, safety incidents and manpower requirements, etc.
•Responsible for plant productivity, efficiency, and/or labor utilization by playing a lead role in LEAN process improvements and coordinate multiple projects within the plant. Lead cross functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
•Ensure timely and quality delivery to both internal and external customers and be accountable for meeting objectives and taking an active role in project improvement activities (i.e. LEAN initiatives, quality, cell development, new equipment start-ups, new product launch).
•Provides leadership and development for employees under their direction. Provides expectations and measures performance against expectations. Communicates company policies to workers to ensure understanding and enforce adherence.
•Maintains employee time and attendance records.
•Foster a team environment within and across all departments.
•Responsible for managing change for their employees by helping the employees understand the need for change; ensure they have the skills/training to make the change, and motivating them to embrace/sustain the change.


•Understanding of LEAN principles and the application of tools for identifying and eliminating waste throughout the organization. Experience applying LEAN methodologies preferred.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.

•Bilingual (Spanish & English) a plus.

Job Summary

Assist in all functions of the office implementing new procedures to ensure maximum efficiency. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

•Partner with Warehouse Supervisor and Manager in assuring the timely and accurate processing of orders;
•Review weekly orders. Route, print, and schedule appointments;
•Design and implement filing systems;
•Establish procedures for record keeping and monitor sustainability;
•Ensure security and confidentiality of data;
•Review fulfillment report daily and manage inventory shortfalls with production to optimize on-time shipments;
•Manage the routing of all customer orders according to customer requirements;
•Rectify “In-Transit” transport orders each week, when issues arise, provide warehouse manager with root cause;
•Manage supply requisitions for office supplies as well as warehouse supplies such as shrink wrap, strapping, tape, etc.;
•Print sales orders and post goods issue orders as needed;
•All other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

•Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Internet use;
•Ability to analyze and solve problems;
•Ability to coordinate and organize daily shipments, making schedule judgments as needed;
•Ability to foster a cooperative work environment;
•Strong interpersonal and communicative skills with the ability to work effectively with all departments within the company as well as outside carriers.

Job Specifications: 

•Must be capable of multi-tasking for daily and long-term objectives; a people person skilled at communications with internal and external customers. Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experienced skills needed
•Must have prior warehouse management systems (WMS) experience, SAP a plus;
•Requires a positive attitude and drive to create operational efficiencies within area of responsibility and other disciplines within the organization.




•Responsible for conducting daily inspections of the forklift to ensure it’s safe and operating soundly.
•Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
•Efficiently stack and store merchandise in appropriate area(s).
•Ability to pick an order from a requisition and verify the product is picked via an RF gun.
•Coordinate work with warehouse staff and carry out orders given by the supervisor or manager.


•Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. 
•Conduct daily operations in a manner that promotes safety. 
•Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
•Manage time effectively and meet set standards and deadlines.
•Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. 
•Report quality and quantity variances.


•Good oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to read, speak and write English and knowledge of basic math skills. 
•Ability to work effectively with co-workers and take orders from superiors.
•Ability to lift 50lbs.
