ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER (Temporary Position)

Job Summary

This Temporary Position is responsible for supporting the product planning, category profitability and speed to market execution throughout the drapery hardware product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, global sourcing, Sales, Marketing and Finance to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This position also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Job Duties

  • Support the Senior Product Managers development and implementation of the drapery hardware brand strategy and product road maps;
  • Support in the development of the marketing strategy for new and existing drapery hardware products;

     
  • Create program pricing in close collaboration with sales, that ensures category profitability for existing and new business opportunities;
  • Work closely with the company’s Channel and Sales teams; enabling them to meet their sales objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations;
  • Drive continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends;
  • Ensure that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team;
  • Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs;
  • Conduct research in stores and on line to gain competitive intelligence and recognize voids within the drapery hardware category;
  • Support role critical in the creation of the pricing for quoted accounts as needed. Working closely with sales and finance to understand account specific allowances and investment for pro-forma analysis;
  • Manage with the support of the Senior Product Manager SKU creation and SKU deletions as they relate to SKU rationalization and work toward declines year over year in our excess inventory in in all warehouse locations.

  • Efficient PowerPoint skills - Able to create PPT presentations that will include detailed formatting and sometimes animation. 

 

Qualifications

  • BS Administration w/concentration in Marketing;
  • 2 years of marketing experience in a consumer products organization.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Job Summary

To help Kenney’s business grow and thrive through well designed visual communications. The Graphic Designer will conceptualize, design and produce graphic materials for Kenney products, services, and events under the guidance of the Creative Manager & Product Managers and in accordance with Kenney’s quality standards and Brand guidelines, as well as Production standards and processes.


Job Duties

  • The Graphic Designer is responsible for completion of all production steps from concept through creation of final design and any associated file deliveries for print or digital applications;
  • The Graphic Designer is responsible for the conceptualizing and the completion of Sales & Marketing materials.
  • Design, maintain and update Sales Manual (Product Catalog).
  • Oversea Walmart package artwork, release final art and archive.
  • Participates in meetings, discussions, and presentations as part of the development process for rough concepts to final design.
  • Photoshoot experience: Internal Photo studio and on location.

  • Communicating with teams dept. members and Marketing team. Ability to communicate creative vision and direction to Photographer and Pre-press coordinator;

FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR

We are looking for a Field Service Coordinator to act as liaison with our third party service provider to ensure Kenney Manufacturing Co. is receiving field service visits which are up to our standards. Coordinate requirements between customers and internal departments. Manage all Field Service visits. This position will report directly to the Customer Service Manager. 


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Customer Service and Display to review/finalize planograms and ensure correct fixture parts/product arrive in stores to meet conversion dates.
  • Provide conversion/service instructions for all projects to third party service provider.
  • Communicate with third party service provider on all store issues related to visits and ensure resolution.
  • Ensure that all Kenney Mfg. Co. correspondence with third party service provider is delivered in time to meet third party delivery schedule.
  • Ensure that all inventory counts for Vendor Managed Inventory are posted on time and are correct. 
  • Ensure that all surveys and project documents are received on time and are correct.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service for any needed parts and with Salesman on any store issues.
  • Review/analyze billable service hours received from third party service provider, process third party service providers’ invoices and update the department 24 budget.
  • Analyze, negotiate and update contracts for new and existing outside service providers.
  • Prepare service visit re-cap reports for customers as required.
  • Assist Customer Service Department with order entry, document scanning, and incoming/outgoing mail.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • Prior retail merchandising experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work effectively with different (difficult) personalities and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. Critical thinking, prioritizing and listening skills appropriate to the needs of the position.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. SAP experience is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and project management skills required.
  • Comfortable working independently in an unstructured environment and flexible to perform other jobs as needed highly desirable.
